| EIPELDAUER, FRANZ KARL - age 65, of Knoxville, formerly of Vienna, Austria, rode his bicycle into heaven on Saturday morning, August 8, 2009. Franz was an avid bicyclist, Gardner, guitar player and enjoyed hiking to Mt. LeConte. He was a member of the Smokey Mountain Wheelman and led many bike trips throughout East Tennessee on several occasions. While in Austria, he was a ski instructor, a tennis instructor and was a professional soccer player. He was preceded in death by his father, Karl Eipeldauer. Franz is survived by his wife, Dawn Eipeldauer; children, Alana and fiancee, Michaela, Julia and fiance, Gunther, Patrick and fiancee, Grace Marie; mother, Matilda Eipeldauer; brother, Karl Eipeldauer all of Vienna, Austria. A Celebration of Life will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel with Father John Appiah officiating.
